JAMMU, Feb 20: Sarvesh Kaushal, Chief Secretary, Punjab today called on Governor N N Vohra and Chief Secretary J&K, Iqbal Khandey separately.
Mr Kaushal apprised the Governor about Punjab Government’s position in regard to the various J&K-Punjab issues relating to the Shahpur Kandi Dam Project. The Governor urged the Chief Secretary to early resolve all outstanding matters arising from this project.
During meeting between Chief Secretaries of Punjab and J&K, detailed deliberations were held to arrive at mutually agreeable terms to address all the issues pertaining to the project.
