KATRA, Feb 20: TITIKSHA 2K15- the annual technical festival of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof Sudhir K Jain, here today on the campus.
In his inaugural address, Prof Jain lauded the efforts of students to organize a technical event which is a hallmark of any premier technical institution as it fosters team spirit and competitive spirit in students. In his ever encouraging style, the Vice Chancellor asked students to struggle so that they can overcome any kind of obstacle.
Earlier, Prof V Verma, Dean faculty of Engineering, encouraged students to take such events as a great challenge to blossom in their respective fields.
Chief Faculty Coordinator, Dr R K Jha gave brief highlights of the event which is a stepping stone to research. Student Coordinator, Rohit Kumar gave the welcome address.
TITIKSHA 2015 comprises of events in five different categories, which are from Electronics and Communication, Computer science, Mechanical, Biotechnology and Ozone.
The main highlights of the Fest are the mega events namely Robo Matrix, Public Manch, Hittch Hiking , Tech Hunt, Innovatia with various gaming events namely Counter Strike, Need for Speed- Rivals, EA Sports FIFA and DOTA-2.
The Fest is being sponsored by Grill Inn, i3indya Technologies, Siya Ram Bade Dayaalu Hai, Giga Soft and Dominos.
