Srinagar : Two militants were killed by security forces in an encounter that broke out this morning in North Kashmir’s Rafiabad area.
The Deputy Inspector General of Police, DIG, North Kashmir, Garib Dass told Excelsior that an operation was launched by police and army this morning after a specific information about the presence of militants in Thak-Gund Village of Sopore area of the district.
He said that two militants were killed and the search operation in the village is going on.
