Kashmiri Scholar’s death: DGP assures help to bring body back

JAMMU:
Director General of Police K Rajindera today assured to bring back the body of a Kashmiri scholar who allegedly committed suicide in a hostel room in Hyderabad.
MLA Elected from Ganerbal, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar today called on Mr Rajendra here and submitted a memorandum with regard to know the causes of death of a scholar of Dobhipora, Ganderbal namely Tariq-ul-Islam, son of Khawaja Ghulam Mohammad Dobhi, who was graduating at IIT Hyderabad.
The MLA in detail discussed the circumstances leading to his death which took place at IIT.
He has requested the DGP to send a special team of J&K Police to Hyderabad to cooperate and enquire the causes of the death of youngest scholar and also requested to arrange his body from Hyderabad to his native village for funeral.
Mr Rajendra, expressing condolence assured the MLA that full cooperation and help would be provided to bring the body of late scholar from Hyderabad to his native village for last rites. (AGENCIES)
