Usha Vohra inaugurates photo exhibition, “Silk Mark Expo”

JAMMU, Feb 21: Usha Vohra, First Lady, inaugurated a photography exhibition titled “Alone Together” and “Silk Mark EXPO-2015” at the Kala Kendra here today.
Mrs. Vohra went round the photo exhibition and showed keen interest in all the pictures, particularly those exhibited under the Landscape, Fusion and Ladakh captions. The exhibited photographs have been taken by Mahmud Anwar Alnasir, Chandan Sunder and Vijay Gupta. Mrs. Vohra lauded the artists for the excellent standard of the photographs taken by them.
Later, Mrs. Vohra inaugurated “Silk Mark Expo-2015” which is an initiative of the Central Silk Board of Union Ministry of Textiles. Mrs. Vohra went round the different stalls which showcased pure silk collections and appreciated the high quality of the varied varieties of silk being produced in different regions of the country.
Soujanya Sharma, Secretary, Kala Kendra; K.S. Menon, CEO, Silk Mark Organisation of India and a large gathering of people were present on the occasion.
