JAMMU, Feb 22: A delegation of Jagti Welfare Committee led by Pinto Ji and Veer Ji Belove called on Commissioner Secretary Education and demanded modification in the transfer orders of the migrant principals as the same may hit the education in camp schools especially these transfers will affect the studies of the students in the mid session.
The delegation said that it is very sad that recently commerce, sociology, and stenography lecturers have been transferred in the mid of the current session, leaving the poor students in lurch, it is clear violation of rules of transfer policy.
The delegation said that due to the negative attitude of the Education authorities the Lecturers and teachers have been  transferred from the Jagti Camp School near to city areas without providing the substitute to fill the vacancy. This results in deprivation of education of the children. More than four hundred students are facing a lot of trouble due to the non- availability of subject Lecturers/ teachers.
Besides, there is extreme dearth of various facilities like Lecturers in sociology, political science, Hindi, computer, stenography, commerce and physical education in the camp school.
It demanded immediate filling up of posts of Physic/ Chemistry/Biology lab assistants and computer science and Biology laboratory assistants, posting of class IV employee for Middle school at Jagti and Laboratory Bearers for Hr., Sec., School Jagti.
