ReT Forum hold monthly meeting

JAMMU, Feb 22: Monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum was held today at Exhibition Ground Jammu under the chairmanship of State vice president Younis Rahi and provincial president Rajesh Singh Jamwal.
The meeting was attended by the State executive members and the district presidents, who expressed strong resentment against the Government for its failure to resolve the SSA salary issue.
Rajesh Singh Jamwal said that the aggrieved ReTs are left with no option other than to sit on hunger strike or to lock up the schools. We have projected our problem from bottom to top but still we are without salary, which is the only mean to survive, he lamented and appealed all the ReT teachers to participate in the proposed protest at their respective districts headquarters.
All the members in the meeting also urged the Governor N N Vohra to personally intervene into the matter so that the salary of thousands of teachers may be released. Those who also spoke on the occasion, included Sukhdev Singh, Joginder Kumar, Ravi Sharma, Subash Chander, Mahesh Kumar, Shahnwaz Hussain, Manjoor Malik, Ravinder Singh, Surjeet Singh, Sham Sharma, Rajinder Singh and others.
