JAMMU, Feb 22: A two days training programme under National Mission on Oilseeds & Oilseed Palm (NMOOP), organized by the Directorate of Agriculture Jammu for the officers of the Department from different districts of Jammu division, concluded today at Krishi Bhawan, Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu.
During the training programme, the participants were trained in various technical aspects in oilseed production with the improved crop cultivation techniques, Integrated Nutrient Management (INM), Integrated Pest Management (IPM), seed production technology, moisture conservation technology, application of bio-fertilizers and popularizing micro-irrigation systems through power point presentations and technical lectures of the experts from SKUAST (J) and Agriculture Production Department.
The training programme was inaugurated by Director Agriculture Jammu, Dr S S Jamwal yesterday.
