MENDHAR, Feb 24: An ex-servicemen rally was organized today under the aegis of Krishana Ghati Brigade by Baloni Battalion in Sagra.
A large number of veterans from various parts of Mendhar suburb attended the rally. During the rally, various info kiosks were established viz. ECHS, Health check-up, Bank, Army Postal Service, Grievances and Recruitment Cell, which addressed the problems faced by ESM in getting the facilities they are entitled for.
A health check-up camp was also organized to screen for lifestyle diseases. During the rally, SBI Mendhar and J&K Bank also participated and addressed the problems faced by ESM in drawing pension and agreed to set up a separate counter for ESM at Mendhar Branch.
