Gupta’s concern over unscheduled power cuts in Gandhi Nagar

JAMMU, Feb 25: Continuing the routine work of listening to the grievances of the people in his Constituency, BJP State general secretary and MLA from Gandhi Nagar Constituency, Kavinder Gupta today visited Nai Basti area to ascertain the people’s problems. After listening to their grievances Gupta assured that their problems, which they are facing for past many years will be solved as BJP has only one point agenda that is development without any favour or partiality .Gupta pledged to start new developmental works in the area and other parts of the Constituency which mainly included solving the problem of water scarcity, electricity and basic necessities in the different areas of the Constituency.
During his tour many local residents of the area met the MLA and apprised him of their problems. Taking serious cognizance of unscheduled power cuts in the area Gupta on spot instructed the concerned authorities to make public the chart of power cuts in schedule and ensure that people should not suffer in wake of unscheduled power cuts. Gupta also attended a Bhandara at Ganesh Ji temple in Nai Basti area and served Prasad among the devotees. Gupta assuring total development of the area stated that people have entrusted a responsibility to BJP in the recent Assembly polls and now it is the duty of the Party to perform to its best and serve each and every resident of the Constituency without any partiality.
Talking to the people, he said due to the failure of NC-Cong Coalition Government in the State, the people of this Constituency suffered a lot. The leaders of previous Government failed to provide the basic amenities to people of this Constituency.” Now, the people of this country as well as the State will go through new era of development, from which they were deprived of at the hands of previous Governments”, Gupta added.
