SAMBA, Feb 26: Deputy Commissioner, Samba Sheetal Nanda, alongwith Commandant 126- BSF Bn Hari Lal, Asstt. Commissioner (Rev), Sonu Pragal, Sub Divisional Magistrate Vijaypur Rajneesh Gupta and other officers visited areas viz Kamore forward post, bund, ditch and nursery post to review the damage caused to BSF posts and civilian property and live stock due to last year’s floods.
She also visited village Barota, Kamore and Kamore camp to redress the grievances of the inhabitants, and gave on spot directions to all revenue officers to closely monitor the situation and take immediate measures to ensure safety and provide required help to the villagers living close to International Border.
