ReT Teachers Forum urges Govt to release salaries under SSA

Excelsior Correspondent
UDHAMPUR, Mar 1: A monthly meeting of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum was  held here today  under the chairmanship of State president Vinod Sharma and district president Lekh Raj Parihar. The meeting was attended by the executive body members of ReT Forum from all the 11 zones of the district.
While speaking on the occasion,  Vinod Sharma appealed to newly formed State Government to settle the issue of pending salary of regularized ReT teachers under SSA who are without salary for the last 4-10 months in all the districts of the State.
He lamented that though they have been projecting this issue from bottom to top for last one year but still the ReT Teachers under SSA are waiting for their salaries helplessly which is the only mean to survive. He hoped that the new Government  would settle this issue by releasing funds under SSA in order to clear the several months salary of SSA Teachers so that they may be able to come out of desperation due to non release of their salaries.
Lekh Raj Parihar while speaking, urged the Chief Education Officer Udhampur to make provision for the release of mid day meals grant to clear the liability for the session 2014-15
Others who also spoke on the occasion, included  Sham Sharma, Sukhdev Singh, Sukesh Khajuria, Ashok Seth, Pritam Goswami, Chain Singh, Parmod Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Bhushan Khajuria, Sandeep Sharma, Sushil Singh, Vipin Sharma, Vinay Sharma, Amit Sharma, Man Chand, Rakesh Singh, Pawan Sharma, Shamsher Singh and  Balbinder Singh.
