NEW DELHI : Killing of 110 ultras in terror strikes and
encounters in Jammu and Kashmir outnumbered the combined toll of 75 civilians and security personnel during 2014, the Lok Sabha was informed today.
MoS(Home) Haribhai P Chaudhary said in a written reply that 222 incidents of terrorist strikes and encounters were reported during last year in the border state. This left dead 47 security personnel, 28 civilians and 110 terrorists, the Minister said.
