SRINAGAR : Air traffic from Srinagar International Airport resumed following improvement in the weather after remaining suspended yesterday.
However, Leh flight could not operate, an official of airport said here this afternoon.
He said no incoming or outgoing flight could operate from Srinagar Airport because of poor visibility this morning. The sky was very cloudy therefore the visibility is very poor, he said.
However, with considerable improvement in the visibility all flights operated from the airport, he said. No flight could operate or arrive on Srinagar airport yesterday due to heavy snowfall and bad light. However, snow on the runway has been cleared.
This was for the second time, no flight could operate from Srinagar airport this winter so far.
