JAMMU, Mar 3: A joint meeting of the representatives of J&K Government Employees and Workers Joint Action Committee (R) (GEWJAC) was held under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, State president of the association, today.
The meeting discussed the pending demands of the employees which include removal of pay anomalies of Clerical cadre, release of pending DA, increase of Medical allowance, dislocation of allowance to all the officials who are posted outside their home district, release of budget for early disposal of all pending cases of GP Fund withdrawal and regularization of Daily Wagers/Adhoc and Contractual employees/ Anganwari workers.
