Governor meets IPS Probationers

JAMMU, Mar 4: A group of four young Indian Police Service officers comprising Chandan Kohli, who hails from Jammu and Kashmir State; Amod Ashok Nagpure from Maharashtra; Ashish Kumar Mishra from Uttar Pradesh; and Gurinderpal from Punjab, called on N. N. Vohra, Governor, here at the Raj Bhavan this evening.
All these IPS Officers, of the 2013 batch, have been allotted Jammu and Kashmir State cadre.
Interacting with the young Police Officers, the Governor urged them to work with zeal and high devotion for ensuring the effective maintenance of public order and internal security in the State. He observed that high professionalism, fairness and complete honesty must be the bench mark of their future service in the State.
The Governor wished the young officers very successful careers ahead.
Rakesh K. Gupta and P.K. Tripathi, Principal Secretaries to the Governor, were present on the occasion.
