JAMMU, Mar 4: Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today carried out partial modification in allotment of portfolios to his Council of Ministers.
Cabinet Minister and BJP MLA Sukhnandan Kumar Choudhary, who was yesterday allocated the portfolio of PHE only was today given charge of Irrigation and Flood Control also. He has now been designated as Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control.
PDP Cabinet Minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, who was yesterday given charge of the departments including Public Works, Floriculture and Parks was today also given the charge of Gardens. He was now designated as Minister for Public Works, Floriculture and Gardens & Parks.
The Chief Minister has re-designated PDP’s Minister of State Asiya Naqash as MoS for Health and Social Welfare. Yesterday, she was given the charge of MoS for Health, Social Welfare and Transport.
However, since BJP MoS Abdul Ghani Kohli had been given Independent Charge of Transport, it has been taken back from Naqash.
