RAMBAN, Mar 4: Banihal police arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, police team from Banihal police station conducted a raid and arrested an absconder, who was at large since long.
The accused has been identified as Bashir Ahmed, son of Gulam Nabi of Rakhjaroug, Batote.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR number 158/2011 under Sections 379, 323 and 511 RPC with police station Banihal.
The arrested absconder will be produced in the court of law tomorrow.
Police team led by SHO Banihal police station Inspector Tariq Naik made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
