Awareness against swine flu at BBIA camp

JAMMU, Mar 4: A free check up and Medical (Ayush) awareness camp against swine flu, was organised at Bari Brahmana Industries Association Bhawan by BBIA in collaboration with Directorate of Indian System of Medicines today.
The camp was inaugurated by Director ISM,  Dr Abdul Kabir Dar  in presence if BBIA president Annil Suri, Romesh Badyal, president Birpur Industries Association and Lalit Mahajan, general secretary BBIA besides other members. The camp was organised under the supervision of  Nodal Officer ISM Samba, Dr Saroz Sharma and Dr Rohit Gupta, coordinator, Jammu province.
During the camp around 520 industrial workers and others were examined  and free medicines were provided to the patients. An awareness  regarding swine flu was created among those attending the camp. The people were asked to take necessary precautions.
Dr Ashok Kumar, Dr Tejinder Singh, Dr Narinder Sharma, Dr Shivani Padha, Dr Ritika, Dr Nishpank, Shashi Pal, Hakam Din, Inder Nath-Pharmacists rendered their services to the people.
Mr Suri requested the Director ISM to explore the possibility of providing services to the industrial workers  on regular basis for which required infrastructure will also be provided by BBIA.
