Coalition committed to mitigate miseries of people: Choudhary

Jammu, Mar 4: An impressive function was organised  today by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to felicitate newly elected Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) Surinder Choudhary in which all senior leaders were present.
Hundreds of party workers attended the felicitating functions.
Addressing the function,  Surinder Choudhary expressed his gratitude towards PDP leadership especially party patron and Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and party president Mehbooba Mufti for nominating him as MLC. “I have no words to express my gratitude towards party leadership for giving me such a responsibility”, Mr Choudhary said and assured the party leadership that he will work assiduously to strengthen PDP at grass root level and come up to the expectation of the party leadership. “Being a grass-root level worker, I will work round the clock to come up to the expectations of the people in general and party cadre in particular”, Mr Choudhary said and exhorted the party workers to reach to the masses to address their problems.
“As MLC I am your servant. I am at your disposal to mitigate miseries of the common masses”, Mr Choudhary told the workers and added that his election as MLC is victory of grass-root level workers of PDP, who have been working selflessly for the party. He announced that very soon he will tour different areas of Jammu region to assess the problems being faced by the common people. “Strengthening of PDP and minimising hardship of the common masses is my priorities”, he said and announced that PDP is committed to address day today problems of the people.
Mr Choudhary said that new Government under the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to committed to provide governance to the door step of the common masses.
The newly elected MLC said that PDP is committed to fulfil the aspirations of the common masses for which they have given us a mandate for deliverance.
Exhorting party workers to strengthen Coalition Govern-ment, Mr Choudhary said that it was not a partisan coalition but a coalition of hope, reconciliation and opportunity. He said that formation of a Coalition Government headed by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is an historic opportunity to change destiny of the people of the State.
