JAMMU, Mar 4: Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has urged upon the State Government to release the wages of SSA, RMSA teachers and Health and Family Welfare employees without any more delay.
In a meeting of the EJAC held here today under the leadership of trade unionist -Abdul Qayoom Wani, the members expressed serious concern over the delay being caused in releasing the salaries of teachers working under SSA/RMSA schemes and the employees of Health and Family Welfare department. They said the wages of these employees are pending for the last over six months.
Mr Wani pointed out that these employees are facing lot of financial problems and denying wages to them is great injustice against them. He also demanded regularization of daily rated, consolidated, casual and contractual employees.
