This refers to PM’s reaction to Mufti Sayeed’s statement (DE 4 March) BJP bigwigs have unnecessarily created a row over an insignificant matter. Mufti Sayeed is voted to power by the people in Kashmir valley. His voters know that he has known as well as unknown agenda before him. BJP is well aware of either, Mufti Sayeed agreed to BJP’s participation in the Government when the latter finally gave a nod to conceding all the conditions laid down by PDP. Rejecting Mufti Sahib’s statement or distancing from it has no rationale and reflects BJP’s double speak. BJP represents Jammu region only and if it has courage to can speak with as much authority on Jammu region as did the Mufti speak about Kashmir valley region.
