JAMMU, Mar 6: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today destroyed 2.5 quintals of swine meat.
Municipal Veterinary Officer, Dr Zafar Iqbal along with field staff on the directions of Commissioner, JMC Kiran Wattal conducted a special drive at Gangyal and Akhnoor Road areas.
The team found that huge flesh of swine (Pig) was being openly sold in the area.
The team lifted 2.5 quintals of swine meat and later destroyed the same at the Bhagwati Nagar dumping site.
