NPSU protests against rehabilitation of surrendered militants

JAMMU, Mar 7: National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) today held a strong protest demonstration against the proposed move of the State Government to rehabilitate the surrendered militants and unconditional release of prisoners lodged in various jails of Kashmir on different charges.
Led by NPSU president Thakur Virender Singh, the students raised slogans against BJP-PDP alliance for promoting the separatist agenda and its total disregard for the issues and concerns of Jammu region.
Speaking on the occasion, Virender Singh said that the BJP-PDP alliance had initiated the process of rehabilitation of surrendered militants but abandoned the West Pakistan refugees issue. “The BJP, which was very bold on the issues of grant of State Subject rights to West Pakistani refugees, has shamelessly surrendered before PDP for lust of power,” he alleged.
NPSU leader also sought immediate announcement of financial package for PoJK displaced persons besides conferment of State Subject rights to West Pakistani refugees.
Others who spoke on the occasion, included Lovely Singh, Shubam Jasrotia, Bhupinder Singh, Sumit Singh, Shubam Singh, Sourav and Kanu Sharma.
