There is urgent need in the country to carry out power reforms on priority basis. Only then it is possible that we can avoid Northern Grid power collapse incidents.
This incident not only brought bad name to the country in the world but also caused huge financial loss to the country. The power failure brought almost half of the country to a halt. The people, particularly commuters, patients and office goers had a harrowing experience. The Central and State Governments should find a viable solution quickly by adopting a joint strategy on this issue. A growing nation like India can’t afford such failures.
