JAMMU, Mar 9: A 25-year old youth was today abducted from Miran Sahib area and then thrashed and attacked by sharp edged weapons by some unknown persons.
According to a police spokesperson, the victim identified as Zakir Hussain (25) son of Abdul Majid, a resident of Kotli Mian Fateh, in its statement given to the police alleged that he was kidnapped by some unknown persons from Miran Sahib area in an Alto car this morning and after thrashing and attacked by sharp edged weapons, they threw out him in injured condition from the vehicle in Narwal area.
The Narwal police shifted the youth, who got minor cuts in his arms, to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment and reported the matter to Miran Sahib police, who registered a case in this regard and started investigations.
According to the Miran sahib police, the victim and his father were booked last month in a case of assault and fraud by them.
