GANDERBAL, Mar 9: On the directions of District Development Commissioner Ganderbal for removal of encroachments on Sindh Nalla, Tehsildar Lar accompanied by a team of Revenue and Police officials removed several encroachments in the district. During the drive more than 100 kanals of pasture land was reconciliated at Watal Bagh Ganderbal.
Deputy Commissioner has also issued directions to the all Tehsildars and Executive Engineer of Irrigation and Flood Control Division Ganderbal to ensure that encroachments on the banks of river Sindh and other canals of the district be removed immediately.
Deputy Commissioner has appealed people and residents of district Ganderbal to cooperate with the administration so that all the illegal encroachments on the water bodies are removed.
