Mulayam tests negative for swine flu, recovering well: docs

NEW DELHI:
Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has tested negative for swine flu and is on way to recovery, doctors treating him said today.
“He (Mulayam) has tested negative for swine flu. He has chest infection and is undergoing treatment. He is recovering well. Yesterday he was moved out of the intensive care unit and shifted to private ward,” said a senior doctor from Medanta where Singh is undergoing treatment.
“He essentially needs at least four days rest although doctors have advised him seven days rest… All his tests have been conducted and their results are normal,” said his brother and UP Minister Shivpal Singh Yadav.
Mulayam was air-lifted from Lucknow to the super speciality hospital in Gurgaon after his health condition had deteriorated last week. (AGENCIES)
