JAMMU, Mar 10: Special Judge Anticorruption CBI cases Jammu, Suresh Sharma today awarded two years RI and fine of Rs 19000 to U K Mondal, Sub Assistant Supervisor in Military Farm Jammu, R K Sonkar, Sub Assistant Supervisor in Military Farm Baramulla and Surjeet Singh, private carriage contractor.
They were booked by the CBI for entering into a criminal conspiracy with each other for so-called carriage of baled hay to Military Farm Baramulla from Jammu Military Farms.
According to the CBI case, U K Mondal prepared a fake note in which more than 14000 kilograms hay was shown as dispatched to Military Farm Baramulla and an amount of Rs 40194 as charges for carriage was withdrawn.
After hearing Special PP K K Pathania for the CBI whereas Senior Advocate V R Wazir for the accused, Special Judge Anticorruption awarded two years RI and fine of Rs 19000 each to the accused persons.
