Charri Mubarak returns to Akhara Mandir

POONCH, Aug 3: The holy mace (Charri Mubarak) reached back to the Dashnami Akhara Mandir amidst the chanting of religious slogans by thousands of devotees as Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra concluded today.
Nearly one lakh and twelve thousand pilgrims performed Darshan at Shri Budha Amarnath shrine at Mandi since July 20. Over 10,000 pilgrims performed darshan at the shrine on the last day. Thousands of  pilgrims led by 1008 Swami Vishavatma Anand Saraswatiji Maharaj carrying holy mace returned to Poonch city today. They were chanting religious slogans.
The group led by Swami ji was received by the District Administration and members of various social and religious organizations from all the communities.  The Guard of Honour was given by police personnel to Charri Mubarak team during a function organized jointly by the district administration and local organizations. Several persons including ADC, SP and officers from  PHE, PDD besides others were honoured on the occasion by Swamji on behalf of Akhara Mandir Committee, for their role and smooth conduct of the yatra. Swamiji congratulated all the agencies and administration for the peaceful and smooth conduct of the annual pilgrimage.
The local organizations and administration also lauded Army authorities for rendering full cooperation and organizing Langar for the pilgrims. The role of the people from majority community for arranging facilities for the devotees was also widely appreciated.
