JAMMU, Aug 3: Director General (DG), Border Security Force (BSF), U K Bansal inaugurated the new block in BSF School amidst blowing of conch shell and vedic recitations, here today.
Additional DG Himmat Singh, IG BSF Jammu FTR S S Tomar and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
With this initiative, the BSF School Jammu has expanded its infrastructure with the introduction of modern system of learning. The new block has a seminar hall, AV room, language lab, Geography lab, Maths lab and Art room. This new infrastructure is expected to provide a healthy and safe learning environment.
BSF Primary school has also introduced Playway Schooling Concept. The school provides homely and conducive environment for the toddlers. The block is well equipped with modern gadgets, educational and informative equipments and the other facilities for the Pre-Primary Schooling.
Speaking on the occasion, Bansal lauded the efforts of the School Chairman, S S Tomar IG BSF and the Principal Dr S S Khokhar for their tireless efforts in making the school an excellent centre of learning.
