JAMMU, Mar 12: The efforts being made by vested interests to vitiate peace and tranquility of State will be thwarted by BJP and Party will make concerted and strong efforts in this regard.

While taking stock of situation, which has arisen due to reported move of Engineer Rashid MLA Langate to move a resolution in Lower House of the Legislature demanding bringing of mortal remains of terrorist Afzal Guru, who was hanged as per judgments of court and whose conviction was upheld by Supreme Court.

His mortal remains coming to State will create a new terror centre and rallying point for anti national forces and will be used by militants and separatists to carry forward their nefarious agenda.
Sunil Sethi further said that this is testing time for alliance partners to stand strongly together to defeat forces which are creating conducive atmosphere for militancy and separatism to again rise. Strategy to deal with situation should be formulated jointly before hand to deal with situation. He further called upon opposition also to stand for national interest and not to support any move which may be against the national interest and which may lead to worsening of law and order.
