JAMMU, Mar 13: Continuing its efforts to bring more efficiency and transparency in the working of Revenue Department and to provide good governance to the people of the State, the Minister for Revenue, Javaid Mustafa Mir has directed the officers and officials of the Revenue Department to submit their Annual Property Returns 2014-15 immediately and also to ensure that a copy of the APR is submitted to the Grievance Cell setup in the Administrative Department headed by the Deputy Secretary, Revenue Department.
Mr Mir has directed the Divisional Commissioners of Jammu and Kashmir and all Deputy Commissioners/ Regional Director, Survey and Land Records to ensure that copy of Annual Property Returns for 2014-15 of Patwaries/Girdawar-Qanoongo is sent to the Grievance Cell within 15 days.
Officers and officials who have already filed their Annual Property Returns 2014-15 have also been directed to submit a copy of the same with the Grievance Cell.
The Minister said that no further extension for filing the property returns will be granted and any laxity in this regard will be dealt sternly.
