HC stays investigation in FIR against taxation counsel, his wife

JAMMU, Mar 13: In a petition filed by Seema Verma and others seeking quashment of FIR registered against Income Tax lawyer Rajesh Verma and his wife Seema Verma, High Court today issued notice to State and others returnable within four weeks.
After hearing Advocate Abhinav Sharma with Advocates Himanshu Beotra and Sahib Aggarwal appearing for the applicant, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal ordered that subject to objections from respondents, investigation in FIR registered by Crime Branch shall remain stayed.
