JAMMU, Mar 13: The State Government has accorded sanction for constitution of the committee to recommend appointment of Wardens and Assistant Wardens in the hostels for Gujjars and Bakkerwals, Pahari speaking people and hostels under the Advisory Board for the Welfare and Development of OBCs.
Headed by Administrative Secretary GAD as convener, the four-member committee will be comprising Administrative Secretary Social Welfare Department, Administrative Secretary School Education and Secretary of the concerned Board.
The GAD shall obtain a panel of eligible Lecturers/Head Masters/Masters with outstanding service career from School Education Department for their posting as the Wardens and Assistant Wardens, whose orders of deputation shall be issued after seeking approval of the Chief Minister. The tenure of deputation of Wardens and Assistant Wardens shall be of two years and in no case, it shall be allowed beyond three years.
