JAMMU, Mar 13: Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today met Governor N N Vohra here at the Raj Bhavan. This was Mr Sayeed’s first formal meeting with the Governor after being sworn in as the Chief Minister of J&K.
The Governor and the Chief Minister discussed a number of important matters relating to appointments and ages of retirement of faculties in the Universities and institutions of higher education, eradication of inefficiency, non-performance and corruption from the administrative apparatus and measures envisaged by the Government to speed up socio-economic development.
The Governor and Chief Minister agreed to meet at regular intervals for discussing important issues.
