JAMMU, Mar 13: Two days orientation programme organized on Rajiv Awas Yojana (RAY) by J&K Housing Board for sensitizing the newly engaged experts of technical cells concluded.
On the occasion, Managing Director, J&K Housing Board Shafiq Ahmed Raina was the chief guest, who while speaking gave a brief description about the vision and objectives of RAY and the role and responsibilities of the State and City Level Technical Cells.
He exhorted the participants to work with zeal and team spirit and contribute to the best of their capabilities and to the high expectations of the State authorities for the successful implementation of the scheme.
Parvaiz Sajad Kukroo, Joint Director Planning, H&UDD assured full support to the administrative department for the time-bound and successful implementation of the scheme.
Yogesh, senior programme, J&K Housing Board briefed the participants about the summary results of slum-survey and city action plans of the selected cities.
In his end, GA Qureshi, State Coordinator, Capacity Development and Training presented vote of thanks.
