Oriental Insurance donates one crore for flood affected in JK

JAMMU, March 14:

Oriental Insurance today donated Rs one crore for providing relief and rehabilitation to the flood victims in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Chairman of Oriental Insurance Company Limited A K Saxena presented the cheque to Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in the presence of Finance Minister A Drabu.

Sayeed thanked the chairman for the kind gesture and urged him to the explore the possibility of recruiting trained and educated youth from the State in running the company’s State operations.

He also appreciated the company’s efforts in settling claims of over Rs 200 crore in favour of the victims who were badly affected in worst-ever floods in the State. (AGENCIES)
