JAMMU, Mar 14: Working to achieve prolific welfare measures and to satiate people’s aspirations and demands, senior BJP leader and MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta inaugurated newly installed 250KW transformer at Ward No.4 of his Constituency, here today.
Executive Engineer PDD Daleep Chiru and AEE Vivek were also present on the occasion.
The transformer which has been funded by the senior BJP leader and former MLA Jammu East Ashok Khajuria after commissioning will cater to the needs of people living in Fattu Chougan, Patel Bazaar, Gali Nano Shah and adjoining areas of Ward No 4. Installed at the approximated cost of Rs. seven lakh, the transformer is expected to provide respite to a large chunk of population residing in the vicinity.
Addressing the gathering, Rajesh Gupta said that realizing his dream of making Jammu East a Model Constituency is now matter of days and steps in the direction to achieve this objective have already been taken with exemplary pace. He informed the gathering that the installation of this transformer will eliminate the problem of load shedding and overloading especially during sultry summers.
