The president said that under New Pension Scheme (NPS) from the month of October 2014 onward has been held back on this account. He said that they have reportedly not been paid salary from the month of October 2014 due to which they and their family members are unduly being forced to suffer starvation  condition especially when the prices of all essentialities of life are soaring sky high for quite a long time.
He said that some employees of Education and Rural Development Department (RDD) approached the Federation and stated that although salary grant is available with the DDOs and even then have been told that unless matching grant under account head 2071 is received the salary cannot be drawn in respect of the employees appointed under NPS.
He added that this section of employees is  unduly being made to suffer acute financial hardships. Khan further added that matching grant is therefore required to be released on priority so that the salary is drawn and disbursed to the employees under NPS .
