UDHAMPUR, Mar 14: Minister of State for Finance & Information Technology, Pawan Gupta today inaugurated a Smart Classroom in Government Degree College Boys, here.
The Smart Classroom established at a cost Rs. 10.53 lakh aims at improving the teaching and learning methodology with the help of information and technology.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gupta highlighted the importance of IT in education sector, adding that smart classrooms will facilitate the teachers and students and improve quality of education . He said that all efforts will be made to improve infrastructural and allied facilities in the college and introduction of Vocational Programs for providing a conducive environment for the overall development of the students .
The Minster also inspected the various developmental works in the college and directed the concerned to ensure their timebound completion Mr. Gupta assured that he would take up the matter of developing Bio diversity park in the college with the concerned authorities.
Later, the Minister released the latest issue of the College newsletter Devika in presence of the Principal Prof. S.S Bhalwal.
