JAMMU, Mar 15: Two persons were injured in a road accident at Chowki Choura, about 20 kilometres from Akhnoor.
According to a police spokesperson, a Swift car bearing registration number JK02AC-2871 which was on its way to Jammu skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge at Chowki Choura, this afternoon.
In the mishap, two occupants of the car received injuries and were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
The injured have been identified as Shashi Pal (63) son of Sita Ram, a resident of Gandhi Nagar and Garu Ram (45) son of Rattan Lal, a resident of Bishnah.
The Akhnoor police has taken cognizance of the matter.
