PDP Minority Cell discusses migrants problems

JAMMU, Mar 15: The first meeting of PDP Minority Cell was held here today under the chairmanship A K Sidha senior leader of the Party in which threadbare discussion was held regarding problems being faced by displaced Pandits.
The meeting among others was addressed by Maharaj Krishan Bhat, (retrd) DySP,Sunil Kumar Bali, Durga Nath Bhat, Sahab Ji, A K Dhar, B B Sadhu and others.
The issues discussed in the meeting included welfare, upliftment and equitable development for reaching out to all areas with comprehensive policy programme on effective coordination to ensure realization of envisaged goals and seek suggestions from Party workers for the socio economic development of the community.
Migrant leaders pointed out that the Pandit community undoubtly had suffered at the hands of previous Union & State Government but it was PDP which had come out most vociferously during recent held Assembly elections and pledged to settle the burning issues assuring that it is the only PDP that could salvage community have great expectations from the Government.
The meeting demanded creation of more 3000 posts for migrant youth under PM’s package.
