JAMMU, Mar 16: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) asked BJP to clarify its stand over policies for J&K vis-à-vis displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
Addressing a core group meeting, KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri stated that it is most surprising for nationalist forces to see RSS endorsing the formation of BJP-PDP Government in J&K.
He added that BJP has recently said in Parliament that Article 370 is a bridge between J&K and rest of India whileas RSS said that it would not dilute its stand on Article 370, perhaps keeping an eye on the coming elections in UP and Bihar.
He also expressed anguish over BJP Government at the Centre and asked the newly framed Government in J&K to study the interlocutors report on J&K and submit its views and comments for further action to Central Government for action.
He further stated that showing PoK as part of Pakistan in a map highlighted in the newspaper of RSS “Organiser” and to create flag controversy in J&K is most unfortunate and has hurt the nationalist forces in general and KPC in particular.
Among others present were Dr TK Bhat, Chairman KPC Jammu, Er Tej Pandita, Vice President KPC, Susheel Bhat, organizing secretary KPC and RL Raina, secretary.
