BOSE to conduct exam of rain hit students

JAMMU, Mar 16: As some students of class 12th, Summer Zone, could not reach their centres for appearing in the examination due to flash floods and heavy rain today, the State Board of School Education has informed that the affected candidates would be enabled to appear in the same paper later on.
The affected students have to submit an application, duly countersigned by the concerned Superintendent of the Examination centre, to the BOSE office on or before March 25, 2015 enabling the authorities to conduct examination in the aforesaid papers accordingly, said a notification, issued today by the Board.
The date for conduct of said examination shall be notified later on.
Meanwhile, the BOSE has ordered postponement of the examination papers of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Sociology of class 12th, annual regular of Winter Zone, which were scheduled to be held on March 17.
Decision in this regard has been taken because of heavy snowfall in the winter zone areas.
