With reference to news item “Model Constituency Raipur Domana” DE Mar 15, I would like to say that this is the right decision taken by the Minister for Social Welfare, Forest, Ecology and Environment as the constituency lacks in every department but the Minister is silent about the transport facility, which needs to be overhauled/monitored at high level of administration in view of the loot by transporters on this route, as they charge more on this route under the very nose of traffic police. The case is of short distances i.e from Bohri-Chowk to Nand-Bab Colony stop and Geeta Colony stop which is less than 3 Kms and the charges are Rs 9/- which is highest in Jammu province (thought provoking).
