JAMMU: Mrs. Usha Vohra, First Lady, today inaugurated “The Falling Leaves”, an exhibition of painting and photography put up by Rachita Dutta, a young artist, at the Rinchen Bzangpo Gallery of General Zorawar Singh Auditorium here.
Going round the exhibited paintings and photographs with Mrs. Vohra, the young artist described the idea behind using “Fallen Leaves” as a theme of her paintings. The First Lady appreciated the artist’s bold use of bright colours and the thought provoking images on canvas. She also appreciated Ms. Dutta’s photographs.
R.D. Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, Jammu University, Prof Anita Billawaria Director Art Gallery, Jai Kumar Sharma, Special Secretary to VC Dr Sanjay Sharma and a large gathering of guests and visitors were present on the occasion.
