JAMMU, Mar 18: Khalid Jamal, Accountant General, J&K, called on N.N. Vohra, Governor, here at the Raj Bhavan, today.
Mr. Jamal briefed the Governor about the areas of State Government functioning which have been audited in the recent past for promoting a transparent framework of policy, rules and regulations and encouraging efficiency and accountability in the functioning of the entire administrative apparatus.
The Governor discussed with Mr. Jamal the need for all required steps being taken to secure the maintenance of transparency, financial probity and fiscal discipline in the entire Government machinery.
