SRINAGAR : Five persons were killed and three others were wounded in a road accident on Srinagar-Jammu national highway today, official sources said. Sources said a vehicle on way to Srinagar from Jammu skidded off the road near Shaitan Nallah in Banihal and fell into a deep gorge resulting in on the spot death of five persons and injuries to three others.
A massive rescue operation has been launched, they added. (AGENCIES)
