KISHTWAR, Mar 19: Police arrested a ReT teacher for fraudulently withdrawing scholarship scheme amount from beneficiaries account here.
As per police sources, 6 students from Catalog Computer Institute lodged a complaint with police station Kishtwar that ReT teacher identified as Ajaz Ahmad of Palmar has fraudulently withdrawn scholarship scheme amount from their account.
Acting on the complaint, a case under FIR number 47/15 under Section 419, 420, 466 and 467 RPC was registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
On specific information, police arrested the accused person late last night from a hideout.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
